Jeremy, an Australian lawyer, holds the position of AusCham Secretary and serves as a Member of the Board of Directors. His legal expertise is centred at Hogan Lovells Vietnam, where he is an integral part of the regional Litigation, Arbitration, and Employment team.
Jeremy’s career trajectory has seen him extensively in action as a Barrister, particularly during the early stages of legal proceedings. His practice encompasses a wide range of international commercial matters, often navigating the complexities of cross-border market entry.
Before embarking on his legal journey, Jeremy made significant contributions in Account Management within the enterprise software domain. His work spanned diverse industries, including mining, energy, and government. Jeremy adeptly handled interstate and cross-border deals, demonstrating his versatility. Notably, he also brings the unique perspective of having been trained as an Australian Soldier, serving as part of the overseas deployment force within the 1st Battalion Royal Australian Regiment.
Jeremy’s commitment to legal excellence extends to his status as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Currently, he is diligently pursuing his PhD in Law, with a specific focus on the enforcement of international arbitral awards within Vietnam.
In terms of languages, Jeremy is fluent in native English and maintains a conversational level of Vietnamese.
